4 years’ experience as a program manager or automation technician in plastics manufacturing. Must possess 4 years of experience with: management or process control experience in plastics technology; injection molding; Catia and ProE. 1 year experience using CAD

Job Description

Lead the launch of new programs (up to $3 Million in tooling and equipment cost, approximately 40 molds, or up to three programs) utilizing the APQP system, ensuring launch within budget. (10%) Manage customer budget for the entire program. (10%) Prepare quotes for new products based on 2D/3D drawings. (5%) Manage RFQs for checking fixtures, subcomponents, and tools. (10%) Serve as the recognized program leader—internally and with the customer—for all issues prior to PPAP approval. (5%) Ensure that the BOM is accurately entered into the MRP system and that all production items (e.g., packaging, colorant, etc.) are identified and approved at cost targets at least six weeks prior to SOP. (5%) Utilize the PCN process to implement BOM changes after initial loading and SOP. (5%) Oversee feasibility reviews to confirm that dimensional accuracy can be achieved in production. (10%) Provide management with necessary information to monitor adherence to the Statement of Requirements (SOR) and eliminate cost creep. (5%) Manage tooling and equipment suppliers to ensure compliance with the SOR, meeting quality and cycle time standards, and delivering on time and within budget. (10%) Prepare and lead cross-functional teams through APQP management gateways, on time, while identifying and communicating risks appropriately. (5%) Demonstrate that each tool/equipment meets targeted cycle time, scrap rate, part weight, and uptime efficiency through three (3) official run-at-rate events. (5%) Lead corrective actions to resolve any cycle time, scrap rate, part weight, or uptime efficiency issues after SOP, as necessary. (10%) Collaborate with production and cost optimization teams to successfully implement improvements, as workload permits. Lead significant engineering changes after SOP, as workload permits. (5%)

Requirements: 4 years’ experience as a program manager or automation technician in plastics manufacturing.

Must possess 4 years of experience with:

-management or process control experience in plastics technology;

-injection molding;

-Catia and ProE;

-1 year experience using CAD.
