Apex Vascular | US Heart and Vascular

Apex Vascular, part of US Heart and Vascular, is seeking a Vascular Sonographer to support our growing vascular diagnostic services in Lenoir City, just outside Knoxville, Tennessee. This role focuses on a full range of vascular diagnostic ultrasound studies in a dedicated ultrasound suite, working alongside a collaborative, physician-led vascular surgery team.

Schedule

  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

  • No weekends What You'll Do

  • Perform upper and lower extremity venous studies

  • Perform upper and lower extremity arterial studies

  • Perform carotid ultrasounds

  • Perform abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) studies

  • Perform AV fistula studies

  • Conduct post-venous ablation follow-up ultrasounds

  • Obtain high-quality vascular images following established protocols

  • Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent outcomes

  • Provide compassionate, professional care to patients

  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards What We're Looking For

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred

  • ARDMS or CCI certification required or eligible

  • Approximately 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience preferred; new graduates are also encouraged to apply

  • Strong technical skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent patient communication skills
