AdventHealth seeks an HVAC Maintenance Technician I to install, inspect, maintain, and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in a hospital setting, applying knowledge of steam distribution, valves, and electrical circuits while supporting preventive maintenance and equipment inventory.

Key focus areas include Install, inspect, maintain, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, Maintain and apply knowledge of steam distribution piping, valves, chilled and hot water reheat systems, and PRV operation, and Develop and implement departmental equipment procedures for power outages.

Preferred (not required): Installs HVAC Systems, Inspects HVAC Systems, Maintains HVAC Systems, and Repairs HVAC Systems.

Job Description :

  • Installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.

  • Maintains and applies current knowledge of steam distribution piping, valves, chilled and hot water reheat systems, and Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) operation.

  • Develops and implements departmental equipment procedures for power outages.

  • Prepares preventive maintenance schedule and produces reports.

  • Identifies equipment needs, parts, and supplies, and maintains adequate inventory. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of hospital Mechanical systems and all components of the system.

  • Trouble shooting skills for HVAC equipment

  • Cutting, brazing, soldering various ferrous materials

  • Running, splicing, connecting, testing, troubleshooting electrical circuits associated with HVAC equipment Education:

  • High School/equivalent grad or 5+ years experience [Required] Field of Study:
