Summary
The Laborer Production, Associate assists in disassembly of cushioning units, snubbers, or yokes while complying with and following all work instructions, safety and quality requirements, and ensuring all company guidelines and safety rules are followed when performing duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.

Complies with The Association of American Railroads regulations, quality assurance standards, and Greenbrier Rail Services Environmental Health and Safety policies

Disassembles and reassembles cushioning units, snubbers, or yokes

Performs assigned tasks under the direction of Supervisor and notifies Supervisor of materials and equipment needed to complete job tasks

Interacts with Supervisor and crew members in a team environment

Complies with special processes assigned, based on work orders
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring attention to detail.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as hammers, tape measure, screwdrivers, wrenches, and die grinder, impact, and cut off wheel

Ability to work and communicate within a team setting
Preferred Qualifications
- One + years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment
