Our Systems Engineers do a lot of amazing things, but for this role in particular you will:

Lead a Team or Section
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
This role involves understanding systems engineering techniques and processes and requires a bachelor s degree plus 10 or more years of work experience.

Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components

Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs

Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization

Implementing and configuring security protocols

Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
-
Developing positive customer relationships
-
Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $145049 - $246584
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
