Environmental Service Technician I (Housekeeping) - Varied Shifts, Per Diem

Position Description

We help our patients and visitors live well by providing a clean and safe hospital. As an EVS Tech 1, you would perform general cleaning tasks across the hospital:

• Interact with patients and visitors

• Clean occupied patient rooms

• Prepare discharged patient rooms for the next patient

• Clean operating rooms

• Operate floor cleaning equipment

• Spill response

• Transport waste

Pay Details

• Pay Rate: Starting at $17/hour

• • $2.00 Weekend shift differential
• • $1.60 2ndshift differential
• • $5.50 3rd shift differential

• Holiday Pay Time and a Half

• Shift Details:

• 1st Shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm + rotating weekends

• 2nd Shift – 4:00 pm – 12:30 pm + rotating weekends

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• A minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping is preferred.

• Be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Basic computer skills required: email, eLearning, Ipad, Vocera, and pagers.

• Able to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, handling fluctuating workloads.

• Pay Range:$17 - $26.35;

• Work Status:Varied hours to include 1st shift, 2nd shift and weekends.;
