Are you someone who takes pride in making sure things are done right the first time? Do you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and being the person others rely on to ensure quality standards are met?
Federal Equipment Company (FEC), a Fairbanks Morse Defense company, is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Cincinnati team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of components and assemblies that support mission-critical defense systems used around the world.

What You’ll Do:

Perform hands-on inspections of machined parts, assemblies, and components using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision equipment.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify quality requirements.

Support production teams by identifying issues early and helping ensure products are built correctly.

Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections.

Document inspection results, assist with resolving quality issues, and help drive continuous improvement.

Work with a team that values safety, craftsmanship, accountability, and doing the job right.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in manufacturing quality inspection or mechanical inspection.

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
