Full job description
Are you a mechanically inclined problem-solver looking to own and operate advanced production technology? We are seeking a reliable Coating Machine Operator to drive performance and accountability on our coating lines. In this role, you will lead machine setups, monitor technical controls, and troubleshoot adjustments across multiple workstations to hit production goals.
Starting Hiring Rate: $25.09/hr plus $2/hr shift differential
Shift: 7pm-7am, 2-2-3 rotation
Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Setup: Lead setups, product changeovers, and program production sequences for optimal productivity.

Troubleshooting & Controls: Monitor meters, gauges, temperatures, and pressures; systematically diagnose machine malfunctions to find root-cause solutions.

Quality & Safety: Perform routine quality tests using standard measuring devices; safely load/unload raw materials and finished products while strictly adhering to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Collaboration: Actively support preventative maintenance (PMs), participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, standard work), and collaborate with team members to hit department goals.

Required: High school diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Commitment to safety as a core value.

Preferred: 2+ years of skilled labor experience demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude.

Comfortable using computer applications and ERP systems.

Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and a track record of high-quality work.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically and work designated shift hours plus reasonable overtime.
