Job description About the role
Lansweeper is growing fast and we need a hands-on Junior Accountant to keep our financial engine running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations — from processing invoices to reconciling accounts — and play a key role in keeping our books accurate and up to date. If you’re a detail-oriented starter who wants to grow in a dynamic, international scale-up, this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts payable & receivable

Process and verify supplier invoices, credit notes and expense claims accurately and on time

Follow up on outstanding customer invoices and support the collections process

Reconcile AP/AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
General ledger & month-end

Post journal entries and assist with monthly closing activities

Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded

Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
Administration & compliance

Maintain accurate and well-organized financial records and filing

Support VAT declarations, statutory filings and audit preparation

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations
Job requirements What you bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or first job welcome).

Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Proficient in Excel; experience with an ERP system (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Exact) is a plus. Accurate, structured and able to meet deadlines.

Fluent in English; Dutch or another European language is an asset.

Based in Belgium, with ability to work hybrid from our Ghent office - 2/3 days in the office is required.
