CT Technologist, FT 3 12's St Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA *10k Sign on bonus Performs diagnostic exams consistent with quality CT Imaging. Fulltime, Day shift Monday, Thursday, Friday 8a-8p *Must have ARRT and at least 1yr experience as CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on Bonus.
What you will do:
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
- Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
- Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration : ARRT registered - CT registry
- Education: Graduate of approved Radiology Program
- Experience: Experience necessary to demonstrate competence
- Special Qualifications: Working knowledge of the department and modality consistent with education level
