Full job description

We are currently hiring for our RICE Singapore office. RICE was recently acquired by FINN Partners, marking an exciting new chapter of growth and expanded regional opportunities for our team.

You are considering a career in communications and you have come to the right place. You are the life of the company and everyone will miss you when you leave.

You are assigned a team to work with, and get a hands-on view to the operations of a fast-growing firm. You provide support to the consultants in their daily duties with tasks including familiarisation with media and analysts, executing on events, generating reports, research, and general office tasks.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Conducting daily media (and social media) monitoring, including the ongoing compilation of relevant media coverage on the client, its business, the competition and the industry

  • Conducting regular qualitative and quantitative research, including the design and development of surveys / questionnaires, complimented by knowledge of research resources

  • Supporting various teams and clients on a range of communications activities – for example, research, compiling press material, developing communications material, compiling media lists, media engagement and pitching, and more

  • Other administrative tasks as required by the team members – for example, handling logistics, event planning/management, organising media drops, and more

Requirements

  • Communications student or recent graduate with a relevant Diploma or Degree

  • Previous PR internship a plus, but not required

  • Ability to prioritise work assignments

  • Interest in business, industry and awareness of the world around us

  • Passionate about the role of media in public relations

  • High energy and ambitious

  • Self-motivated with proactive attitude

  • Strong work ethic

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
