Full job description

As Technical Producers at Riot, we lead passionate technical teams and initiatives to create products and experiences that maximize developer and player value. We guide development, clear blockers, and help teams deliver in a sustainable way while creating a strong collaborative environment.

As a Technical Producer II on the Data Foundations (DF) Business Operations team, you will help keep DF's operating engine running smoothly, and flex into high-impact opportunities across Riot's broader data ecosystem. You will report to the Manager, DF Business Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep DF Business Operations' internal rhythms and forums organized, on-track, and producing clear outcomes (e.g., team all-hands, sprint reviews, on-sites)
  • Maintain the tools, trackers, and shared systems that give DF Business Operations continuity and organizational visibility as we scale.
  • Ensure the operational data underpinning DF's portfolio, vendor, and financial views is current and accurate for reporting & leadership decision-making
  • Flex into cross-Riot data priorities — supporting other data leaders, standing forums, or shared initiatives where DF can make a meaningful contribution.
  • Support storytelling opportunities that surface the value of data investments across Riot.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Operations, Producer, Technical Program Manager, or comparable operations role in a technical organization.
  • Proven ability to coordinate effectively across organizations, driving alignment and follow-through with partners outside your immediate team.
  • Excellent written communication — comfortable turning messy inputs into clean summaries, agendas, and status updates.
  • Fluency with Jira, Notion, and project and status tracking

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a data, developer, or infrastructure platform.
  • Experience applying AI and automation to streamline organizational workflows, accelerate decision-making, and increase operating leverage.

For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!

Our Perks:

Riot focuses on work/life balance, shown by our open paid time off policy and other perks such as flexible work schedules. We offer medical, dental, and life insurance, parental leave for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and children, and a 401k with company match. Check out our benefits pages for more information.

If that sounds like the kind of place you want to work, we’re looking forward to your application.
