Simulation Engineer GammaTech Engineering (GTE) is looking for a Simulation Engineer with a solid work ethic, excellent judgment, and a desire to build a long-term career with us.

You would join our 1D System-Level Simulation team, a group with nearly 20 years of experience in developing solutions for multi-physics system applications. In this role, you would contribute to consulting projects for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier 1 suppliers in the transportation industry.

What You Will Do

  • Model and simulate innovative powertrain and energy systems using GT-SUITE from conventional internal combustion engines to battery electric configurations.

  • Develop and adapt innovative CAE methodologies to meet customer requirements, devising alternative design solutions for complex problems.

  • Analyze simulation results and provide expertise on the observed physical phenomena.

  • Document technical findings and workflows by creating high-quality reports, procedures, and training materials.

  • Interact with colleagues on multi-disciplinary projects to achieve comprehensive solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with customers, fostering positive and cooperative relationships. What You Will Bring

  • MSc or PhD in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong theoretical background and interest in powertrain technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with GT-SUITE (or other similar multi-physics system simulation tools) is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink and proven Python experience are a plus.

  • Fluency in both Italian and English, with strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
