Alternative Education Teacher - ELA - Grade 7-12

Duties: An Alternative Education High School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher provides standards-based instruction aligned with the New York State Learning Standards while meeting the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students in an alternative education setting. The teacher develops engaging, differentiated lessons, monitors student progress, fosters positive relationships, collaborates with staff and families, and supports students in earning course credit and preparing for graduation.

Qualifications: New York State certification in English Language Arts, grade 7-12.

Location of Position: Campus - TriPlexus

Term of Employment: Full Time - 10 month

Salary: Contingent upon education and experience and according to the Madison-Oneida BOCES Teacher Contract.

Starting Date: September 2026
