Amergis Staffing is currently seeking School Aides for the 2026/2027 school year in Santa Maria, CA.
Position Details:
Pay: $18/hour (Weekly paychecks)
Start Date: August 2026
Hours Per Week: 30
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
Length: 2026/2027 School Year
Requirements: High school diploma, experience working with kids or as a caregiver, CPR. Must be comfortable with toileting and diapering.

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.
Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required

Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
-
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
