Responsibilities:
-
Handle insurance authorization process for hospital or medical procedures

Work with physicians and other healthcare providers to obtain correct documentation for insurance authorizations

Ensure compliance with insurance company requirements and healthcare laws and regulations
-
Communicate with insurance companies on behalf of the patient and the healthcare provider
-
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical procedures, healthcare codes, and insurance policies
-
Assist physicians in determining the necessity of procedures based on health plan coverage
Requirements
MUST have LPN License.
