Position:
The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Maintenance Technician to our team. The Maintenance Technician provides maintenance services in the support of acquisition, operation, and lifecycle maintenance of The Resort at Paws Up facilities.
This position starts at $19 an hour and goes up from there depending on experience.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities
-
Perform general maintenance on equipment, units, building, etc.
-
Support and improve maintenance services that effectively address problems affecting guests and team members.

Manage repair and maintenance projects and building improvements by effectively coordinating and planning all tasks
-
Coordinate maintenance efforts with affected departments.

Preform preventative maintenance; Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; completing repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment; Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day to day maintenance.

Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.
Other Functions and Responsibilities

Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times, take pride in representing The Resort at Paws Up professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner.

Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.

Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.

Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
Looking for team members with:

High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work

Minimum 2 years’ technical training
-
Knowledge and experience working with electrical, plumbing, general building maintenance and repair skills for a facility and equipment

Excellent customer relations, communication skills, and organizational skills

Knowledge of world class hospitality and service

Valid State Driver’s License
