Our client, a leading organization in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a Robot Programmer Fanuc to join their team. As a Robot Programmer Fanuc, you will be part of the Manufacturing Engineering Department supporting production and automation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Robot Programmer Fanuc
Location: Wixom, Michigan
Pay Range: $48 Hourly
What's the Job?

Develop and modify FANUC robot programs in accordance with GM GRS standards and customer requirements.

Program, configure, and optimize robotic applications including material handling, spot welding, arc welding, sealing, assembly operations, and machine tending.

Support robot installation, startup, commissioning, and production launch activities.

Troubleshoot and debug robot programs, communication networks, and integrated automation systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robotic systems meet safety, quality, and production standards.
What's Needed?
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience will be considered.

Minimum of 3+ years of FANUC robot programming experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

Experience developing and modifying programs using FANUC HandlingTool, SpotTool, ArcTool, PaintTool (as applicable).

Proficiency in robot startup, commissioning, and debugging activities.

Strong understanding of GM GRS standards and automotive manufacturing practices.
