Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Responsibilities:

Assembles appropriate food and performs other necessary food service needs for all customers.
-
Prepares meals making appropriate quantity of food items which meet standards of appearance and taste.

Plans food production to ensure food items will be ready when needed.

Maintains a clean/neat, safe environment in work areas following appropriate sanitation practices.

Keeps assigned work area stocked with supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
-
Previous short order cooking experience required
-
Must have excellent communication skills, a caring attitude and be a team player
-
Comfortable engaging with patients, visitors, co-workers
-
Must be able to work every other weekend
Schedule:
-
80 hours a pay period
-
Scheduled 5 days per week including every other Sat & Sun
-
11a-7:30p
-
Every other holiday rotation
-
The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
