Registered Nurse (RN) – Portales,NM

Travel Pay: $25.23/hour

(W2)

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $25.23, Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00,

Total Comp :$2,154.28

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • Nights, 6p-6a, 36 hrs/week

Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical RN

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide age-appropriate patient care for pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.

  • Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassessments according to policy.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient response.

  • Assess and manage pain, including patient and family education.

  • Perform treatments and services within scope of licensure.

  • Assist physicians with procedures and technical skills.

  • Provide patient and family education and support.

  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Maintain patient safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

  • Address psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and spiritual needs of patients and families.

  • Maintain accurate documentation according to standards and policies.

  • Safely operate medical equipment.

  • Coordinate and supervise patient care within scope of licensure.

**Minimum Qualifications **

  • Current, valid, and unrestrictedNM license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

  • Valid BLS

  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing

  • Minimum 1+ year within the last 3 years related experience as RN Medsurge

  • Additional certifications may be required

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
