Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Dietitian at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center in Ashtabula, Ohio. This position will see inpatient and outpatients on our hospital campus.

$3,000 Relocation Assistance Available

Schedule: Monday- Friday with Rotating Weekends

About the Hospital: Ashtabula County Medical Center is an affiliate of Cleveland Clinic, which was ranked second in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. It has a usual census of 60-85 patients and just opened a new patient tower. The hospital operates the county's only cardiac catheterization lab and behavioral medicine unit, in addition to a sleep disorders lab, as well as many specialized services.

Compensation Data

COMPENSATION: The Salaried rate for this position is $60,000- $65,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess patient's nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs

  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes

  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care

  • Monitor patients' progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) / Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required

  • At least 1 year of clinical practice experience preferred

  • Licensed Dietitian status in Ohio or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition

Conditions of employment include busy hospital and outpatient settings, from patient rooms/floors to kitchen/serving areas.
