Job Title: Production Operator - 1st Shift Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will utilize hand tools and various machinery to assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies across multiple fields. This role involves using tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches, as well as production machinery for tasks like printing solder paste. Quality checks on assembled products are a critical part of the job to ensure each step is completed accurately. Additionally, candidates will use computers to access step-by-step assembly instructions and must be capable of navigating multiple programs simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble circuit boards and sub-assemblies using hand tools and machinery.

  • Perform quality checks on assembled products.

  • Use production machinery for tasks like printing solder paste.

  • Access and follow step-by-step instructions on a computer.

  • Log into multiple programs to retrieve necessary instructions.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production and assembly.

  • Basic computer proficiency for daily use.

  • Skill in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque drivers, and wrenches.

  • Experience in soldering and general production tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 year of assembly experience is preferred.

  • 1-2 years of soldering experience can lead to higher starting pay.

  • Experience in picking and packaging is beneficial.

  • Background in customer service is advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
