Full job description

Kelly Engineering is partnering with a rapidly growing pharmaceutical manufacturer on a 6 month+ contract Maintenance Manager role in the Richmond, VA area. This position offers very competitive pay, full benefits and per diem for employees outside of the area.

As the contract Maintenance Manager, you will establish and implement maintenance procedures and ensure all equipment operates at peak performance in a regulated aseptic environment. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting production, troubleshooting issues, and building a reliability-focused team.

What you will do:

  • Oversee all maintenance activities for aseptic production equipment

  • Lead & train a small team of technicians; direct hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment setup

  • Manage maintenance documentation including work orders, SOPs, and change control records in accordance with FDA/GMP requirements

  • Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and process deviations

  • Ensure all work is performed safely and supports a culture of continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Previous maintenance leadership experience in a GMP regulated manufacturing environment- Pharma highly preferred

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills
