Job Title: Distribution Associate – 2nd and 3rd shift openings

Job Description

Join a growing distribution team on 3rd shift, where you will play a key role in processing, auditing, packing, and shipping products to meet customer needs. You will work in a clean, fast-paced environment, ensuring orders are accurate, products meet specifications, and materials move efficiently through the warehouse.

Responsibilities

  • Process and audit customer orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Process and audit company products to align with specific customer requirements.

  • Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.

  • Ship completed orders to designated customer locations in a timely manner.

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.

  • Sort and count parts to maintain accurate order and inventory records.

  • Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.

  • Handle inventory tasks, including counting and labeling products.

  • Collect cardboard and dispose of it properly using the compactor.

  • Follow established warehouse processes to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Essential Skills

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.

  • Hands-on experience with order picking.

  • Proven ability to pack products efficiently and safely.

  • Experience with shipping processes and procedures.

  • Experience with receiving activities in a warehouse setting.

  • Inventory handling experience, including counting and tracking items.

  • Ability to accurately sort, count, and label parts and products.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

  • Attention to detail to ensure orders and products meet customer specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in both shipping and receiving operations.

  • Familiarity with basic inventory control practices.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on 3rd shift.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Reliability and consistency in meeting productivity and quality expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
