Overview

Dartmouth Health Cheshire Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician tojoin our primary care teamin beautiful Keene, New Hampshire. Our family medicine practice is located directly on the Cheshire Medical Center campus, giving physicians seamless access to hospital services and specialty departments right next door. This is a deeply community-rooted practice, and physician and staff well-being isn't an afterthought here — it's a strategic priority for the organization.

This is a 100% outpatient role with reasonable, manageable on-call responsibilities, so you can focus on what matters most: your patients and your own sustainability in medicine.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate is comfortable delivering acute care, preventive care, and chronic disease management across all ages. You'll have the chance to build lasting relationships with patients and their families, providing the kind of continuous, comprehensive care that brought many of us into family medicine in the first place.

Position Highlights

  • Outpatient only — no inpatient responsibilities

  • Full-time schedule — 32 patient-facing hours per week

  • Generous visit times — 50 minutes for new patients, 25 minutes for follow-ups

  • Manageable volume — 18 patients per day

  • Phone-only call — supported by a nursing team that triages calls

Requirements

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited family medicine residency

  • BC/BE in family medicine

  • Ability to obtain/maintain a New Hampshire medical license
