Full job description

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift

Description: Primary Location: Muskegon

Full Time: Wed- Fri 3p-3a, 12-hour shifts, work 36 hours a week get paid for 40 hours. Must be able to train on day shift for two months.

Performs basic life support procedures consistent with state and local operating protocols. Operates within the scope of practice covered by his/her licensure level under the direction of a physician and consistent with local standard operating protocols. Reports to Field Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of a Emergency Medical Technician:

  • Renders basic life support procedures to patients in a variety of settings consistent with state and local operating protocols.
  • Ability to provide good and accurate oral reports to designated medical personnel.
  • Completes all reports legibly, accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Performs all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional manner, always taking into account the wellbeing of the patient.
  • Provide medical examination and screening of patients consistent with Medical Control Authority protocols
  • Uses safety and PPE equipment as required by law and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Current EMT Basic license from the State of Michigan.

Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle operating license, with continued safe

driving history
