Full job description

Our client, a leader in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting the Cosmetic Characterization team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and an optimization mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Physicochemical characterization of haircare and cosmetic products following defined protocols and quality criteria.

  • Perform stability studies and physicochemical measurements across various cosmetic formats.

  • Maintain full traceability from sample intake to data delivery, ensuring accurate documentation and version control.

  • Update databases, monitor stability records, and identify anomalies or trends.

  • Contribute to workflow improvements by proposing testing and data handling enhancements.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience, or QC/Physical Measurements certification/diploma.

  • Technical research experience in a laboratory setting.

  • Strong foundation in math and science principles.

  • Methodical and organized approach to testing and documentation.

  • Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook/Teams.
