School Occupational Therapist

?? Placerville & Camino, CA | $80/Hour | Full-Time | 2026-2027 School Year

Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated OT to support students across multiple school sites in Placerville and Camino, CA . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse student population while helping children and young adults develop the skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Position Details

  • Position: School Occupational Therapist

  • Location: Placerville & Camino, CA

  • Pay Rate: $80.00 per hour

  • Hours: 40 hours per week

  • Contract Length: 36 Weeks

  • Start Date: August 14, 2026

  • Schedule: Full-time, school-day hours

  • Assignment Type: Itinerant position across multiple school sites

Caseload

  • Students ranging from Preschool through Young Adult

  • Services provided across schools in Placerville and Camino

  • Diverse caseload with opportunities to support students with varying developmental, physical, sensory, and educational needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans based on educational goals.

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with IEPs.

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Assist students in improving fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and functional skills needed for academic success.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with district and state requirements.

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and interventions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice

  • One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
