Successful candidates bring 3 Years Customer Service Experience, 4 Year Degree, and Accounts Payable Experience. Important skills include Microsoft Office, Support Desk Systems, Database Systems, Customer Service Focus, Organizational Skills, and Planning Skills. Preferred (not required): Ivend, One Market, One Cup, and One Warehouse.

Job Summary

Primary responsibilities to assist the Division Controller and Assistant Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area.

General Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for weekly closing of all lines of business systems- Ivend, One Market, One Cup and One Warehouse

  • Responsible for analyzing data to assist branches in resolving over/shorts, etc.

  • Oversee acquisitions and other various projects

  • Training new associates and/or assist branches with all lines of business systems

  • Engage in the use of financial systems to collect and report data

  • Assist in month end close activities

  • Complete excel spreadsheet analysis as directed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred

  • 2+ years’ experience in field of general finance and/or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions

  • Advanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting/presentation

  • Strong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision

  • Exposure/Knowledge of SAP preferred
