CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking aProject Engineerto join ourWater TeaminBlacksburg, VA or Richmond, VA. In this role, you will support the design and delivery of critical water infrastructure projects that help communities thrive. What You'll Do:

Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for water/wastewater infrastructure projects

Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
-
Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for water/wastewater systems

Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and improvement of water/wastewater infrastructure systems
What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
-
No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
-
Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team

Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus

Salary Range:
$74,000 - $78,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
