What You'll Be Doing

Scale loose rock from underground mine walls and ceilings to maintain safe working conditions

Operate scaling equipment and tools safely and efficiently in confined spaces

Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify and address potential hazards

Perform basic equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs

Collaborate with team members to support safe and productive quarry operations
What Are We Looking For

Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively in underground environments

Strong safety mindset with the capability to recognize and mitigate hazards

Ability to follow procedures, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team

Mechanical aptitude and comfort performing basic equipment inspections

Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in physically demanding conditions
Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer

$28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
