Mental Health Associate

City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Overview Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Mental Health Associate in the Behavioral Health Unit. This position performs direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of the delivery of nursing care and under supervision of a RN. Leads and co-facilitates educational and activity groups. Assists with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Education

• Bachelor's degree (Required)

or

• 4 years relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Certification/Licensure

• QMHP certification (preferred)

Experience

• 1 year of working experience in behavioral health
