Our client, a leading manufacturer in the construction and building materials industry, is seeking a dedicated Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist to join their team. As an Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist, you will be part of the Doors department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembly Worker / Assembly Specialist

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: $19

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:30 am

What's the Job?

  • Assemble all types of steel door units according to customer specifications.

  • Read and interpret production tickets accurately to ensure quality standards.

  • Verify material quality, accuracy, and count with minimal supervision.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.

  • Support safety initiatives and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to read and understand English.

  • Manufacturing experience preferred but not mandatory.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; capable of frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and pushing.

  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work at a fast pace with multiple components.
