Full job description

We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join a school-based team providing services to students across educational settings. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for conducting student evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapy services, and maintaining documentation in accordance with each student's plan of care.

Position Overview

  • Full-time opportunities available

  • 35 hours per week

  • 39-week contract

  • Start Date: August 17, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students.

  • Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans based on evaluation findings.

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in educational settings.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to support student success.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student-centered care planning.

  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Assignment Details

Minimum Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.

  • One (1) year of prior professional occupational therapy experience preferred.

  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice.

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.

  • TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray, if applicable.

  • Current health certificate, as required by contract or state regulations.

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous school-based occupational therapy experience.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Experience supporting diverse student populations across a variety of educational settings.
