About This Hospice Aide (CNA) Position  

HopeHealth Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking an experienced CNA to join its dynamic and caring hospice team.

This position will provide care to hospice patients at our inpatient Hulitar Hospice Center.

The duties of a hospice aide are planned and assigned by a registered nurse to meet patient and family needs.

The hospice aide provides personal care in accordance with the established plan of care.  

This is a part time 24 hr night 7:00pm-7:30am position that requires every fourth weekend and is eligible for benefits

  Duties / Responsibilities as a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):  

Provides personal care  Observes, reports, and documents patient status and the care provided  Provides support to patient, family and caregivers through on-going communication  Follows basic infection control procedures  Recognizes and reports changes in patient's status to IPU RN Recognizes emergencies and has the knowledge of emergency procedures and their application  Maintains patient and family confidentiality    

Education / Experience to be a CNA:  

Certified Nurse Aide certification  High School Diploma or GED  1-3 years of experience required.
