As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Florence, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and support a welcoming environment. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while documenting security-related activity and responding professionally to concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and assist with visitor and contractor screening in accordance with site-specific procedures.

• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or applicable license is preferred.

• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience are preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
