Position Highlights
Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.
Summary:

Position will assist in Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology

Responsible for providing direct and indirect physical, psychosocial and spiritual care for patients with cancer and other related disease processes
Requirements:

Active IA RN licence
-
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience required
-
BSN and oncology experience preferred
-
Oncology Certification (OCN) is preferred but not mandatory
-
Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Certification required prior to completion of orientation/chemo administration
Schedule:
-
72 hours per pay period
-
M-F; 7:30a-5p
-
On-call rotation every 6-8 weeks after 1 year of employment

The schedule may fluctuate based upon needs of the department
