Job Purpose and Impact
The Refrigeration Maintenance Supervisor (First Shift) will supervise a team which operates an industrial ammonia refrigeration system, steam boiler system, and various other utilities. You will also execute a variety of medium complex activities in alignment with production needs to maintain and repair this equipment.
Key Accountabilities

Coordinate the execution of asset integrity and operator training involved with a high hazard process. Work closely with PSM.

Implement methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.

Assist with leading contractor projects including budgeting and managing safety process during project implementation.

Responsible for managing maintenance and repair projects for your team including parts ordering, budgeting, and implementation.

You will have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions, and much of your time is spent completing the same tasks as the subordinate employees.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field

One year of directly related work experience in Maintenance or Ammonia Refrigeration
Preferred Qualifications
-
Knowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration, PSM, and Steam Boilers
-
Experience coordinating third party resources to deliver business results
-
One year of supervisory experience
