Job Type: Full-TimeAs we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Mechanic to join our NJ team. If you’re reliable, safety-conscious, and take pride in delivering materials with care, we want to hear from you.

Position Overview

This role will focus primarily on routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations, ensuring all company vehicles remain in safe and working condition. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, and has basic mechanical experience, with diesel knowledge considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations

  • Inspect vehicles for wear and potential mechanical issues

  • Maintain service records and report needed repairs

  • Check and top off fluids (oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.)

  • Ensure tires are properly inflated and in safe condition

  • Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks

  • Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe

  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience

  • Ability to perform oil changes, tire rotations, and general maintenance tasks independently

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with diesel vehicles (strong plus)

  • Previous experience in a mechanic or automotive maintenance role

  • Familiarity with fleet maintenance is a plus
