The Opportunity

As a Health Actuary Consultant - Senior Associate, you will be part of our dynamic team within our Workforce Consulting practice, focusing on Rewards and Benefits. You will provide strategic, analytic, and technical support to our payer and provider clients in the ever-evolving healthcare sector. Our clients rely on us to help redefine their strategies, maintain market share, and achieve cost savings. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will build meaningful client connections, anticipate needs, and navigate ambiguity to deliver quality solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your personal brand and deepen your technical skills. You will guide and mentor junior team members, using feedback and reflection to enhance your strengths and address development areas. You will also utilize a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry trends, maintaining professional and technical standards. This position offers a chance to work within our Digital Core Modernisation network, focusing on the Health Industries sector, and to grow your career in a supportive and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic, analytic, and technical support to healthcare payer and provider clients

  • Analyzing complex business issues and developing actionable insights to enhance client strategies

  • Utilizing data analytics and benchmarking studies to inform cost management and benefits administration

  • Collaborating with teams to design and implement compensation and benefits strategies

  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis and market analysis to support client decision-making

  • Managing stakeholder engagement and building quality relationships with clients

  • Reviewing and refining work for accuracy and relevance to maintain professional standards

  • Leveraging tools and techniques to extract insights from industry trends and inform client solutions

  • Guiding and mentoring junior team members to foster professional growth and development

  • Upholding ethical standards and business conduct in all client interactions

What You Must Have

  • At least a Bachelor's degree

  • At least 2 years of experience

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
