Responsibilities
- Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders • Demonstrates a complete understanding of the menu items and explains them to guests accurately • Uses plus-selling techniques and makes customers aware of promotions • Rings food orders on the register and collects payment from guests making change accordingly • Prepares food neatly, according to formula, in a timely manner • Checks products in food & beverage areas and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift • Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up • Cleans and maintains all food service areas, including the guest seating area and display cases, to promote a clean image • Cleans and sanitizes all food service utensils and dishes in the three compartment sink (wash, rinse, sanitize) • Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as required in the Franchise Operations Manual • Routinely monitors and records food temperatures on a log to ensure safe holding temperatures of hot and refrigerated foods • Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards • Performs light paperwork duties as assigned • Works safely with various food service equipment as dictated by the franchise (i.e. ovens, microwaves, toasters, meat slicers, knives, deep fryers, can openers, etc.) • Completes the training courses as directed and/or dictated by the franchise

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)

Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
