Job Responsibilities/Duties

Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) is seeking a fully qualified journeyman plumber-steamfitter. This individual will perform expert installation, maintenance, layout fabrication, and repair work on all piping systems, plumbing assemblies, and equipment falling within the jurisdiction of the Plumber-Pipefitter Journeyman classification at H2C. Set up tools and equipment, either hand or power tools, as needed to perform the aforementioned work.

*This position will remain open until filled.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Journeyman Plumber-Steamfitter with one year of related experience.

  • Ability to work in confined spaces, perform work with supplied air, and physically crawl and fit pipe in small areas.

  • Ability to qualify as a Radiological Worker II and must be able to perform mask work.

**Copy of journeyman license must be included with resume if applicant is selected for this position.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previously qualified as a Radiological Worker II.

Compensation & Benefits

Entry Level Hourly Rate: $51.156

Top Level Hourly Rate: $53.849

In accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), the salary offered for this position will be reflective of the assigned job classification and associated wage scale. Actual placement on the wage scale will be based on a candidate's education, training and/or experience. A step rate increase will be implemented every six months (as applicable) until the top rate of the wage scale is reached.
