Job Description

We are seeking a versatile Enterprise Solutions Architect who can operate at both strategic and technical levels. This role involves defining technology stacks for new applications, designing solutions aligned with business needs, and occasionally being hands-on to build prototypes or frameworks. The ideal candidate is a “jack of all trades” with broad experience across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and modern technologies. Additionally, this role will provide leadership and guidance to Application Development teams, creating reference architectures for cloud-native applications aimed at refactoring and optimization.

Responsibilities include:

• Solution Architecture

o Translate business requirements into actionable technology solutions.

o Design application architecture including UI, backend microservices, and data layers.

o Recommend tech stacks for new applications and optimize existing platforms.

• Project Examples

o Consolidate two applications into a single cloud-based solution, leveraging AI/ML for process optimization and automation.

o Build cloud-based databases and propose strategies for data consolidation.

• Leadership & Standards

o Guide development teams with reference architectures for cloud-native applications.

o Provide high-level and detailed estimates, address technical challenges, and close tech debt gaps.

o Ensure compliance with governance, security, and enterprise standards.

• Innovation

o Evaluate new technologies and contribute to reusable frameworks.

o Maintain architectural documentation and drive consistency across tools and technologies.

• Hands-On

o Develop POCs, prototypes, and frameworks as needed.

o Provide technical expertise and remain capable of coding when required.

Skills and Requirements

-5+ years in Solution Architecture/Engineering, with proven experience designing enterprise applications and determining tech stacks,

• Experience working at both high-level strategy and hands-on implementation

• Strong experience with GCP (additional experience with Azure is a plus)

• Deep familiarity with multiple technologies for UI, backend (API/microservices) and databases

• Background in software engineering, data engineering, and/or cloud database design

• Ability to think through complex business challenges and propose AI-drive solutions - GCP Architect cloud certification

• Strong experience with AI and ML tools

• Familiarity with multiple cloud services
