Registered Nurse – Infusion Center

POSITION OVERVIEW
Harbor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Center team in Austin, TX. This role is central to delivering member-centered infusion care while upholding clinical excellence and safety standards. You will work collaboratively with clinicians, specialists, and pharmacists to optimize member treatment plans and provide exceptional care that aligns with our mission of transforming healthcare through our payvider model.
POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform comprehensive health assessments and deliver safe infusion treatments according to prescribed protocols
- Communicate thoroughly and effectively with members, families, and caregivers to ensure comfort and safety throughout their care
- Manage infusion reactions and provide thorough member education about treatments and disease states
- Demonstrate expertise in peripheral line placement and port access
- Monitor and interpret vital signs while ensuring member safety and comfort
- Coordinate care between members, prescribers, and internal teams while maintaining detailed electronic documentation
- Collaborate with clinicians, specialists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists to optimize member care and treatment plans
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols
- Demonstrate proficiency with technology and information management systems
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Required:

Current RN license in the State of Texas
-
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 2–3 years in infusion therapy

Current BLS Certification
-
Demonstrated expertise in peripheral line placement, port access, and infusion reaction management

Strong technical competency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office

Excellence in member communication and education

Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and function as part of a collaborative team

Physical ability to perform required duties including lifting and repetitive motions Preferred:

BSN degree

Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification

Critical care experience

Bilingual in English/Spanish
