Job Description

Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP, Credit Risk Reporting in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions).

JOB DUTIES:

  1. Provide accurate and timely reporting on credit risks to inform regulatory and management decisions.

  2. Conduct credit exposure validations.

  3. Perform data clean up and analysis.

  4. Resolve data integrity/upstream booking and data issues that lead to inaccurate RWAs being reported.

  5. Assist with reporting and analysis of BIII RWAs for our company’s Trading Book.

  6. Ensure limits are set up correctly to capture risk, and that risk calculations are thoroughly documented and understood.

  7. Identify and resolve breaches of limits and any technical issues that may be associated with the breach.

  8. Act as liaison between Front Office and Credit Officers for any credit inquiries.

  9. Participate in definition of risk policies and ensure that agreed upon policies are properly implemented.

  10. Contribute to development of Credit Risk Reporting’s management practices (e.g. Engage stakeholders across multiple business areas, including Front Office, Credit Risk IT, Credit Officers, Credit Risk Methodology (CRM), Derivatives Counterparty Exposure Measurement (DCEM), Model Validation, Quantitative Analytics and other user groups), enabling successful reporting of accurate exposures.

  11. Automate reporting needs for the region and ensure global consistency in the reporting process.

  12. Produce, review and validate report data and research any significant changes to ensure accuracy of data.

  13. Serve as liaison between various application system owners to ensure data quality.

  14. Provide input into the new products approval process.

  15. May telecommute pursuant to company policies [Hybrid].

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related Quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or another credit risk management position within the banking and financial industry. Alternatively, the employer will also accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or a related Quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or another credit risk management position within the banking and financial industry.

RATE OF PAY: $188,178 to $195,000 per year

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available. Barclays employees are eligible for a suite of a competitive and generous employee benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and other paid leave for qualifying circumstances. This position is eligible for an incentive award.
