Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team. As a HR Business Partner, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting the sales and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Holtsville, NY

Pay Range: $54 - $55

Shift: 8:30am - 5:30pm

Duration: 3 months temporary assignment

What's the Job?

  • Implement HR-related processes, practices, policies, and outcomes within the assigned business units.

  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors to address associate relations and performance issues.

  • Partner with HR subject matter experts to develop strategies and solutions that meet business needs.

  • Provide input on programs, procedures, and guidelines to align with strategic goals.

  • Support leadership in change management and organizational development initiatives.

What's Needed?

  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including compensation, organizational design, and employment laws.

  • Experience in resolving associate issues and providing effective consulting and client management.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and make presentations.

  • Ability to critically analyze ambiguous situations and exercise good judgment.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop trust and build strong relationships across teams.
