Assisting with initial device configurations under remote guidance

Labeling, testing, and managing network and power cables to ensure proper connectivity and organization

  • Performing basic troubleshooting, power cycling devices, and executing routine maintenance tasks on-site

  • Verifying serial numbers, and taking digital photos of equipment for asset tracking purposes

•Acting as the physical presence for remote engineers, implementing their instructions to complete tasks that require on-site access

Skills and Requirements

-At least 1 year of experience working at a Datacenter as a smart hand or Metro Field Engineer

  • Hands on experience with IT hardware or in fiber optics

-Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues as they arise

-Certifications like CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA preferred
