School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Madras, OR

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school-based setting in Madras, Oregon. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders while collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic achievement and communication development.

Simple Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Oregon school-based credential or authorization, if required

  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations

  • Support students' communication skills to enhance academic and social success

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

  • Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR if applicable

  • TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
