What your day-to-day will look like:

Lead and support the dock team in loading and unloading freight using manual and powered equipment such as pallet jacks andforklifts

Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity, accuracy and safety standards aremet

Train team members on proper equipment use, safety procedures and bestpractices

Help organize freight on the dock according to destination and priority, ensuringaccuratehandling anddocumentation

Communicate clearly with dispatchers,drivers,and warehouse staff to coordinate freightmovement

Monitor inventory levels andassistwith merchandisereconciliation

Keep the dock clean,safe,and well-stocked with tools andsupplies

Identifyand resolve operational challenges, addressing performance issues asneeded

At a minimum,you'llneed:

4 years of warehouse experience

It'dbe great if you also have:

High school diploma or equivalent

Microsoft Office experience andproficiency

Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days,eveningsandweekends

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid leadership skills; able to coach and mentor team members; Experience in a supervisory role

Solid math skills and analytical ability

This job requires the ability to:

Lift up to 50lbs.
