Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to support the expansion of a large-scale data center campus in Rayville, Louisiana. This is a highly visible field-focused role overseeing complex mechanical and electrical construction activities on a rapidly growing site that is doubling in size with an additional 2,000 acres of development planned.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction professional who thrives in the field, building relationships with contractors, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring quality execution of critical infrastructure projects. Data center experience is not required; candidates with backgrounds in oil & gas, heavy industrial, manufacturing, power generation, or other complex industrial environments are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day mechanical and electrical construction activities on-site.

  • Act as the primary field liaison between contractors, superintendents, labor teams, and project stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

  • Conduct field walks and inspections to verify work is being completed according to design and project requirements.

  • Participate in project meetings, status reporting, and construction planning activities.

  • Coordinate with contractors to identify and resolve construction challenges proactively.

  • Support commissioning and startup activities for critical facility infrastructure systems.

  • Ensure compliance with site access requirements, safety regulations, and workforce verification standards.

Mechanical and electrical project management background

Experience overseeing installation, construction, or commissioning of industrial plumbing and water distribution systems, pumps and pump systems, condensers and cooling infrastructure, CDUs, PLCs, and low voltage systems Degree
